Children's Zoo at Calderglen Country Park

The Children's Zoo has goats, pigs, owls, snakes and other animals. More animals can be found in the Conservatory, and zoo staff are on hand to answer our pet queries. In the rest of the park there's also a large outdoor play area, cafe, ornamental garden and over 8 miles of nature trails, through woods and along the River Calder.

Opening times Conservatory and Zoo: Summer (April to September) 10.30am-5pm. Winter (October to March) 11am-4pm. Visitor Centre: Summer (April to September) 10.30am-5pm. Winter (October to March) 11am-4pm.
